British Airways claim deadline

It’s important to ensure that you sign-up and join the BA Group Action before the British Airways claim deadline expires.

Due to recent developments in the action that we’re involved in, we’ve reason to believe that the deadline could be very soon. This is based on the actions of the lawyers who are representing BA in the litigation, and we believe that they’re trying to push for a short cut-off date for victims to claim.

This could lead to tens of thousands of people missing out on the chance to make a claim. As such, we’re urging anyone who has yet to start their claim to do so immediately.

Making sure you don’t miss the British Airways claim deadline

Ensuring that you don’t miss the British Airways claim deadline is incredibly important. If you miss the cut-off point, you will likely be unable to benefit from any settlements that take place in the action.

You’re not usually able to join the action once the deadline has passed. Based on our extensive experience (40+ group and multi-party actions to date), joining after the deadline has passed isn’t usually doable.

In fact, we still receive new enquires for people who have missed the deadlines for other actions we’re involved in that have passed. Sadly, we must turn people away.

What you need to do

There’s usually more to it than just signing up to join the BA Group Action. When the court puts in place the final British Airways claim deadline, they will normally require claimants to have taken a number of steps in order to qualify to be on the action.

This may include:

  • Having insurance;
  • Completing, in full, a Schedule of Information;
  • Provision of evidence to support your case.

This can be difficult to put together and submit to the court quickly. The longer you leave starting your BA Group Action claim, the more likely it may be that you miss court deadlines.

Realistically, if you’re serious about claiming, you should sign-up and join the BA Group Action without delay.
